OurPlace is a multiplayer text-based online game that is played worldwide. Consisting of over
30,000 unique rooms, 10,000 disctinct mobiles,
and a very wide array of equipment, books,
and skills/spells, OurPlace is an immense world ready to explore.
In addition to our 9 original classes (Cleric, Enchanter, Mage, Necromancer, Psionicist, Ranger,
Roughneck, Thief, and Warrior), 2 classes (Assassin and Monk) are only attainable through a
special process called remorting - in
which the current class is changed to a different one
and at the same time, retaining the powers of the old class. With diverse and endless remort
combinations, the outcome and strength of any single character
is limitless.

Announcement
Please welcome Aulaster and Vagma to the OP staff. They both have been doing back end work on the Mud all summer. Aulaster was the driving force behind serengetti and is currently working on a new area for us. Vagma has automated some of the quests, devoloped and maintains the OP Website, as well as working on a new area as well.
Please extend a congrats to them when you have a chance.
